Community Family Collaborative uses the Family Group Decision Making (FGDM) process to facilitate, enable and extend responsibility for child safety, well being and permanence to families, communities and
natural support systems.
About Us
Community Family Collaborative (CFC) is a collaboration, founded in 2017, between Eddie’s House and Emerging Ministry Corporation to enable, empower and support families in our communities who are dealing with the safety and well being of their children.
The vision of the collaborative is to engage, enable and empower families and the community (the village) in planning and decision making that protects and supports their well being and future.
CFC creates a safe, secure and enabling space for families to address and resolve
challenges & concerns.
CFC believes that families and communities often have the capacity, will and desire, courage, relationships, and love to commit to making informed, protective, and appropriate decisions on behalf of their
children.
